I’ll be honest, I haven’t delved into the new Xbox update much at all. Whenever I get on I join a party of friends and jump straight into whatever game to be played. Its a shame to hear, however, that with the new update an old favorite of ours has been removed: the Netflix party mode.
This mode allowed you and your friends the ability to watch a cheesy movie simultaneously (well, it didn’t need to be cheesy, but let’s face it: 90% of the movies on there were) while talking to each other over the voice chat and making gestures with your Xbox avatar person. It was a pretty hokey feature and never seemed to get much support, but it was a fun distraction occasionally. I don’t imagine any petition will be much help here, but if you feel strongly about getting the feature back, I suggest you sign this one.
